Get dressed for a crazy and trendy night out at the one of the many hip and fashionable clubs at Barceloneta beach. This is where you can spot a celebrity if you’re lucky and glance at the fashionable clientele. The nightclubs are perfectly located by the seaside right next to each other, which makes the mingling easier if you want to experience more than one club during the night. The clubs all have their own signature in style, music and atmosphere to please the discerning audience.
To make it a night to remember why not start with a dinner at Shoko(http://www.shoko.biz/), restaurant and lounge club, which is created based on the feng-shui concept and includes different areas for different tastes. They have two VIP zones, area bamboo, chill out and a terrace by the sea for creating a unique experience. This is a great place to start the evening. Enjoy a dinner with Asian and Mediterranean food before it turns into a sophisticated nightclub with the latest music in house and rnb.
Since Shoko closes around three o’clock you might be in the mood to continue the glamorous party. Most people go to the after-party at Opium Mar(http://www.opiummar.com/home.html), just a few steps to the right from Shoko. This is one of the most famous and fancy clubs in Barcelona and here you listen to the best house music in town to keep you going until 6.00 am in the morning. If your wallet is up to it why not make it even more spectacular and reserve a table in one of the VIP zones and get comfortable in the sofa overlooking the wild dancing crowd below. The cost for a table varies from 150 to 200 Euros including a bottle of liquor of choice.
Since the popularity amongst these clubs is high, it simplifies the entrance by having an invitation. Barcelona is full of promoters who would love to have you on their list and flyers are handled out in the city center. The easiest way to sign up for the list is visiting this link: (http://www.fiestasbarcelona.com/)… or MINGEL!!! If you are staying in this dynamic city for a while and love to party, you will soon find yourself connecting with people from all over the world and get access to the greatest parties.
So… get dressed for a classy, trendy and spectacular night out in Barceloneta beach!
Barcelona is one of those cities where, no matter what time of the year, there is always constant nightlife that lasts, in true Spanish style, until 6 O´clock in the morning the following day. As the city is such a popular touristic city, with its cultural diversity, nightlife is just so easy to find. The city offers all types of bars: traditional bars, shisha bars, irish pubs, you name it. Discotecas (nightclubs) can be found that play a wide range of music like salsa, hip-hop, and house, and you can even find all genres under the same roof. Experience a real party in Barcelona, where the city is buzzing no matter what time of day.
Compared to the USA and the UK, club entrance restrictions are a lot less rigid. The drinking age is 18, however venues rarely check for identification. In Spain, the normal time to go out is not until midnight. People gather at a bar for some copas, and then move on to the club at around 2:30am. Most clubs don´t even open until 1:00am! Closing time is normally 6:00am, however there is no last call. There are many after-party spots which get busy at around 7am and go on into the next day, ideal for those who want to party nonstop.
Most clubs charge entrance fee, but with this comes a free drink usually. Drinks usually cost around 12 euros. For free and discounted entry into some of Barcelona´s hottest clubs, visit Barcelona-home´s guestlist website.
The bar Marsella is said to be the oldest one in Barcelona. It has benn opened since 1820. Besides this, it has something very special on the menu – Absinthe .
Do not think you can visit many bars with almost two hundred years of history? This reason is enough to go to Marsella at least once in your life. High ceilings with chandeliers, marble tables and mirrors the atmosphere is very bohemian.
If the walls of this bar could talk, they would tell us thousands of thrilling stories, some of which would feature famous artists like Dali, Picasso and Gaudi.
As mentioned above, they are serving something special that can be hardly found in other bars - Absinthe. The drink, in its original form, is prohibited in many countries. The one that can be ordered today is still rare, but does not feature the secret opium ingredient. The drink itself is an alcoholic beverage with a flavor similar to anise and an alcohol content of up to 89 degrees. This drink has always raised much controversy, as a certain amount of absinthe can cause hallucinations. If you consume Absinthe, you must be careful and you shouldn´t forget that you can´t compare it to other liqors. The Absinthe is usually served with water and / or a sugar cube.

In true New York style, Angels & Kings (the place run by Pete Wentz, bassist of the band Fall Out Boy) picked Barcelona for its first opening outside the US. The exclusive club can be found on the sixth floor of the newly opened Hotel Me .
The people behind the organisation are Crush Management Company (the label representing the bands Panic At The Disco, Gym Class Heroes, Cobra Starship and also Fall Out Boy), Stephen Westman (The Lakeview Broadcasting Company) and Matt Eiles (Empire Liquors). Angels & Kings is unique for Europe, as there are only two others (in New York since 2007 and in Chicago).
After you step out of the elevator, you enter the club directly, where electronic music and an extraordinary interior come upon. The design combines unique furniture, reminiscent classic Victorian-style with a Gothic and Romantic touch. This is highlighted by the use of fine materials, which provide both glamorous and vintage look. Some of the key elements are the mug shots of various celebrities (e.g. David Bowie, Ozzy Osbourne). There is even free space on one of the walls, where you can leave your own mark . Another plus of Angels & Kings is the spectacular outdoor terrace, wihich features a nice pool and comfortable sofas to chill out.
The entrance is free and the prices for drinks range from 5,- Euros for a beer to approximately 7-8 Euros for cocktails.
Hotel ME is located on Carrer Pere IV 272, 08005 Barcelona.
Have fun!
The Taverna Amsterdam is a well-known bar in Barcelona, located close by the famous Ramblas and Plaza Catalunya and the metro stations “Passeig de Gracia (L3 and L4) and “Girona†(L4) in the street “D´Aragó 305.
The bar is famous for its good food served all day long until midnight,  big screens with live satellite sports and the biggest choice of beers in Bacelona, ranging from Spanish, Dutch, German, Belgian, English to Mexican.
Furthermore, Taverna Amsterdam has great offers every week. Today, the 3rd of December, you can buy a 200 gr burger with fries for 8,50 Euros. Thursdays it´s students night and from 22.00 until 23.00 the beer and wine is 1,50 Euros + free tapas, and for people who are very hungry they have a menu for 9,50 Euros (Nasi Schotel with Sate and a small beer). On Friday, the offer is afterwork drink and free tapas, Saturdays - cosmo night out (Csomopolitans for 4,50 Euros) and on “lazy Sundays†you can buy a beer for 1,50 Euros. As the offers change frequently, you should doublecheck with the website.
In additionto eating and drinking, here you can watch important sport events on one of the 4 screens, which inclue a 2 meter widescreen. This week you can see PSV – Sparta Prag (3rd of December), AZ – Vitesse (4th of December), FC Utrecht – Ajax (6th of December) and RKC – PSV (6th of December).
The opening hours are from 10 am till 2.30 am on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, 10 am till 3 am on Fridays and Saturdays, Monday closed.
See you there!
“A little bit different than the usual clubs”. That’s what the guests of “THE GALLERY†would propably say. Well, actually it is a little bit different to other clubs and the reason for this is the extraordinary interior.
If you have never been to “THE GALLERYâ€, you understand the big fuss about it.
The entire club is like an art gallery, where the owner has put some self-designed stuff into. He created these crazy artworks by dismantling cars, as well as, motorbikes and adding things together. You will also find an old-school Bentley in which you can sit and enjoy a cocktail. Even the bathrooms for both sexes do have a special style. But I’ll keep that as my secret. You really have to see it yourself! Here is an advice if you want to go there… Don´t forget to take your camera with you!
Now are you surely wondering, what kind of music are they playing? They play a bunch of music styles. From R´n´R, punk, rock to electro and 80′s. Divided in the 2 rooms of the disco.
The price of a beer (4,- Euros) is compared to other locations way cheaper. For cocktails you´ve to pay about 8,- Euros.
As “THE GALLERY†is not opened every friday and saturday (usually just 2 times a month)
No dress code.
One thing is very important to know. You´ve to be on the guestlist to enter the club. If not they won’t let you in. The entrance is 7,- Euros.
It’s located in “Pallars 94†, 50m from the metro station “Marina†(L1, red line) and “Bogatell†(L4, yellow line) away and very near to Razzmatazz.
Hope you enjoy your next party in “THE GALLERYâ€!
The following article is not just for people who visit Razzmatazz, but it´s definitely a good proposal before you go there. I´m talking about “Dixi 724″. No, this is not a new model of a public toilet, this is truly the name of the disco-bar, located in the “Carrer de Sanho de Avila 50″, you´ll find all types of styles and people.
The former factory building has two floors, two big bars and a terrace. It´s also possible to play kicker and billard. A little airplane on the ceiling and the cheap drinks (beer 3,- Euros, ron with cola 4,- Euros and a Red Bull for an extra fee of 0,50 Euros) are significant for Dixi and the cause for a full location on Fridays and Saturdays.
What you should remember, is that it´s a mixture of a discoteque and a bar. That´s why dancing is quite unusual, but therefore, the entrance is for free! Closing time is at about 4 o´clock. Compared to other pubs, which close at 3 o´clock in general, this is kind of late.
During your stay the music will be focused on rock, alternative, power-pop etc… So, if you want to spend a couple of hours at Dixi before going out to rock the night, l you should get out of the metro at “Marina” or “Bogatell”. Razzmatazz is just in the next street (Carrer de Pamplona 88). The Dixi is of course only one suggestion. At “Marina” you can find a lot of bars and people so there are no problems to find a place to stay.
Emma from London contacted guestlistbcn before coming to Barcelona to plan her perfect trip. We asked her about her visit!
Q: Why did you decide to contact guestlistbcn before arriving in Barcelona?
A: I had seen on their website that they provide so many services. They have so much information about all the best clubs in Barcelona. On their website they have information and contact details for anything you could want, from places to stay, places to eat, places to drink, and the best places to party the night away in style!
Q: After you contacted guestlistbcn, what services did they offer for your stay?
A: They offered exactly all the things that I needed! With their help, I ate in the finest restaurants, and drank in the coolest bars. I saved so much time, because they had done all the research and planning for me! They also provided great accomodation in a convenient location. They offered free entry into clubs, and special drinks deals! I really felt like a rockstar all weekend, dining and clubbing in the most exclusive places.
Q: Would you recommend this service to others visiting Barcelona?
A: Absolutely. Their service saved me so much time and money, and I felt like I really made the most of my time in Barcelona. Their inside knowledge directed me to the best places to go. They really know how to show you a good time, I was partying nonstop! They did all the hard work, and I did all the partying!
You are staying in Barcelona but don´t know where to go out?
Well, of course, it is hard to find a good club or pub if you are new in town and don´t know what kind of people and what kind of music the different locations are playing.
For somebody who wants it more quietly it´s better to go to a pub. Usually the entrance is free all the time and the prices for drinks are way more cheaper than in discoteques.
“El CoptetÃn†for example is a modern Cuban bar where you can find all sorts of trends, whereas, the inside is more tropical, romantic and relaxed. The specialities of the house are Mojitos and Caipriñas.
For wine experts the “Va de Vi†is the perfect place to stay. They have wines all over the world and even though it sounds a little bit weird, they have a big variety of cheese too. So with every bottle of wine you are ordering you will receive a special cheese-selection.
The “Roxy Clubâ€, for people who like to party, has three different rooms with R´n´B, electro and house music. They also provide special nights and entertainments to feel yourself comfortable and enjoy one of the most exclusive VIP services in town. It is not very hard to find, because it´s located right in the heart of Barcelona next to the Passeig de Gracia and Rambla Catalunya.
When you are searching for an alternative nightlife in Barcelona then the “Anti-Karaokeâ€, near the metro station “Paralelo†(L3), is your place to be. It is a mixture of a rock concert, a Broadway musical and a crazy housparty with 300-600 party-people every night!
The entrance costs 7 Euros and includes a free drink.
If you want to search on one´s own account you will surely be successfull in the city centre of Barcelona!

This legendary club located just off Las Ramblas is the place to go to hear live Jazz. In the 60s, the biggest acts in Jazz including Chet Baker, Ella Fitzgerald and Lionel Hampton performed here, so it´s no wonder Jamboree has such a great reputation. Jamboree has been awarded for its promotion of quality music and for having the best Jazz programming by the Association of Jazz Music of Catalunya and the SGAE. You will not hear exclusively Jazz, however, as after the live performances this venue turns into a club. Downstairs you can dance away to Hip Hop, R&B and popular Funk, while upstairs plays Spanish and Latin beats.

Dry Martini was designed to recapture the spirit of the time of the Prohibition in North America when ´speakeasys´began to emerge in hidden corners of the main cities. That is why this bar/restaurant is a little hard to find, with its hidden spot and camouflaged back entrance! To enter you whisper a password through the peephole and then you are led to an underground wine cellar and restaurant. The atmosphere is informal but classy, with relaxed Jazz music playing. The cocktails are a must-have. A truly unique place to spend the evening.
