Daydream Festival

This festival, set to be held June 12th at the Barcelona Forum, will feature the incredibly popular Radiohead. Due to this being the band’s only live performance this year in Spain, you better get your tickets fast, because this will be a sell-out show.

Sonar

From June 19th-21st , this progressive music and multimedia arts festival celebrates its 12th birthday at the MACBA Grounds and Fira Gran Via (day, then night). Benicassim

Possibly the most famous Barcelona summer music festivals will take place this year from July 17th  -20th. As one of the biggest in the world, Benicassim has music for all tastes, and music lovers from all backgrounds will find something to enjoy here. You can go for a day, or get a 3 or 4 day pass to take advantage of every possible moment in this festival. Get ready to camp out and hear some great music, see fantastic art exhibits, theater acts, and fashion shows.

Summercase
July 18th and 19th, Summercase’s third annual festival will take place in the Barcelona Forum. Performances by the likes of the ”Sex Pistols’‘ and a variety of other punk bands will set off another successful event this year. This party also includes a dance tent with djs playing the latest hits.

Festin Canibal

In the Parc del Forum from June 27th-28th, a brand new festival will take place in Barcelona this summer. To support the urban music scene in this growing city, the Festin Canibal helps bands and Djs from Barcelona succeed in performing hip hop, rock, reggae, Catalan rumba and new flamenco music. Kuiperfest

Outside of the city this summer, you can escape to the gorgeous Catalan countryside between June 20th and 22nd to enjoy this summer music festival. In the midst of olive groves and the rolling countryside of Catalunia, music and art will be presented (with over 45 live bands and theater acts). Camping is available for nature lovers, and food will be provided by three British chefs.
